หลักสูตร Strategic IT governance & Information Security Management for Executives เป็นหลักสูตรที่ออกแบบสำหรับผู้บริหารสารสนเทศในองค์กรหรือผู้บริหารระดับสูงที่เป็นกำลังสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อนองค์กรในยุคสังคมข้อมูลข่าวสาร (Digital Economy) ให้สามารถเชื่อมโยงความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ และภาวะแวดล้อมเชิงธุรกิจโดยเน้นถึงการเพิ่มศักยภาพในการแข่งขันจากการประยุกต์ใช้เทคโนโลยีทางด้านสารสนเทศเนื้อหาวิชาจะแบ่งเป็น 2 ส่วนหลัก ได้แก่ ส่วนที่เกี่ยวกับการเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการบริหารจัดการงานสารสนเทศโดยใช้หลักไอทีภิบาล (IT Governance) และบรรษัทภิบาล (Corporate Governance) ให้มีประสิทธิภาพและความปลอดภัยจากภัยอินเทอร์เน็ตอย่างได้ผลในเชิญปฎิบัติ และส่วนที่สอง เกี่ยวกับการเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการบริหารจัดการความมั่นคงปลอดภัยด้านสารสนเทศในองค์กร โดยอ้างอิงจากมาตรฐานระดับโลก ISO/IEC 27001 และสอดคล้องกับ พรบ.ว่าด้วยการกระทำผิดเกี่ยวกับคอมพิวเตอร์ พ.ศ.2550 และ  พรบ.ธุรกรรมทางอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ พ.ศ.2544
